Tesla recently unveiled its Autopilot feature for some of its cars, leading to speculation about whether or not these Tesla bots will eventually be able to drive cars.
While it is likely that Tesla bots will be able to control aspects of the car like steering, accelerating, and braking,
experts suggest that they will still be limited in their capacity to accurately judge objects and make decisions while driving.
This could prove difficult in situations involving pedestrians and other cars,
making it unlikely that full autonomy is on the horizon anytime soon.
However, as technology advances, so too do the capabilities of self-driving vehicles.
As a result, it is possible that we could see a rise in autonomous Teslas in the near future.
